Always a bottleneck for me – packing. A new strategy – be in bed by 1:00 a.m. instead of 3.  Then rip my heart out, pretend I’m just going to the drugstore and tell the dogs “be right back…”  in three weeks. First leg, Columbia airport. Check-in. Waiting for my bags of cameras and L-ion batteries…

Sunset on Lambert Field. Flights canceled and rescheduled, we’re now headed in the right direction-Dallas.

Works in progress….. some colors still to be worked out.  The studio lighting is fairly true to the hues.

The 1st challenge. What goes in our picnic basket…glasses-I’ll hand carry, gloves from Bette, a very tiny umbrella  for ambience…
