starters: champagne and sunsets

Overnight to Rome, then train to Florence and we’ll meet our group. The plane was late but good to know they were waiting to allow passengers to make their connections. I slept for a change. Seats like electric origami- press and hold the button and seat unfolds and turns into a bed.

Rome Termini a bit of a madhouse – end of the day rush hour. Our train is awaiting it’s track. 20 mins behind now.  Ah,even trains have to wait in line. Last seat, last row, last car… Comfortable, clean as European trains are. And here come snacks and drinks.
